Break into a company -- possibly in a foreign country or on an alien planet -- and step up to the computer. How long does it take you to figure out the UI and use the new applications for the first time? Less than a minute if you're a movie star.
The fact that all user interfaces are walk-up-and-use is probably the single most unrealistic aspect of how movies depict computers. In reality, we know all too well that even the smartest users have plenty of problems using even the best designs, let alone the degraded usability typically found in in-house MIS systems or industrial control rooms.

UAC Control
Gisteren heb ik een tooltje gemaakt om de status van UAC in Vista & 7 te checken en eventueel in of uit te schakelen m.a.w. het stelt niet veel voor, maarja beginners moeten ergens starten, niet? 
De tool checkt ook ofdat je wel Windows Vista of 7 draait, als je een eerdere versie draait sluit het programma af.Wat ik wel nog zou moeten toevoegen is een controle die checkt ofdat de tool als Administrator wordt uitgevoerd. En de "graphics" mogen ook wel wat beter
En ja ik weet dat je UAC zonder tooltjes kunt uitschakelen

The frame is made of plasma cut aluminum. The paintball gun uses a custom hopper mounted remotely from the gun body. It has two webcams offering a 160 degree field of vision, and the image processing is done by a dual core pentium CPU booting windows xp off a compact flash card. The computer interfaces with the 1/4scale RC servos using a PIC24. The paintball sentry can either be configured via a computer GUI when a monitor is available or a baclkit keypad and 4×20 charachter display in the field.
